The S-Series Pneumatic Actuator Design and Features:
These large size actuators provide an output torque up to 396,206 in-lbs @ 78 PSI supply air. These kind of actuators are extensively used in the following major industial or municipal markets: petroleum, chemical, natural gas, O.E.M., water treatment and waste water. The body, pistons and pinions are made of high quality carbon steel, insuring longer actuator life.
*Die-Cast aluminum ASTM 6005 and/or high quality carbon steel body with internal and external corrosion protection which have honed cylinder surface for longer life and low coeffiecient of friction.
*Dual piston rack and pinion design for compact construction, symmetric mounting position, high-cycle life and fast operation, reverse rotation can be accomplished in the field by simply inverting the pistons.
*Multiple bearings and guides on rack and pinions, low friction, high-cycle life a blow-out proof shaft.
*Modular preloaded spring cartridge design, with coated springs for versatile range, greater safety and corrosion resistance, longer cycle life.
*Die-cast teeth on piston and pinion for accurate low backlash make rack and pinion engagement with maximum efficiency, long term corrosion resistance with stainless steel fasteners.
* Full conformance to the latest specifications: ISO 5211, DIN 3337 and NAMUR, which offers product interchangeability and easy mounting of solenoid valves, limit switches, positioners amd other accessories.
