Cole-Parmer 5997-20 pH Bench Type Controller. Set high and low alarms to within 0.1 pH unit (10 mV) for one electrode input. When solution's pH levels exceed limits, front-panel signal lights up. Controller then activates pumps, solenoid valves, or other instruments connected to the two 110 VAC outlets on the bench models or wired to the two 110 VAC powered relays on the wall-mount models. Timed alarm circuit shuts off power output if pH levels do not return to preset limits within the chosen time span (adjustable from 0 to 10 minutes). Mirror-backed six-inch analog scale has a range of pH 0 to 14 (±700 mV); expanded scale is pH 1.4 (140 mV) span. New Price: $860 each.
